The Superloop Stunt Show in dubai Global Village
The Superloop Stunt Show is a fast-paced, high-octane, adrenaline-fueled, tyre-squealing spectacular hosted every night (except Tuesdays) in the Stunt Arena at Global Village… and even better, entrance to this incredible show is included in your 15 Dhs admission to the park!
When you enter the Stunt Arena, you are confronted by a deserted, post-apocalyptic scene. Warning messages of dangerous electro-toxins are displayed on the big screen, you hear an ominous electrical hum… something is not right!
We soon meet Kate Skinner, who enters the scene in a full Hazmat suit, protected from the electro-static, magnetic environment. Suddenly two Electro-Freakazoids appear on high speed motorcycles and corner Kate. They rip off her protective mask and the mission begins: save Kate, generate enough speed to get the Superloop Turbine spinning, reverse the effects of the electro-toxins and save the world!
Witness some of the best precision driving on the planet; FMX riders fly through the air, cars driven on two wheels, three car donuts with drivers only inches apart and a high-powered motorbike driven on a tight-rope at a dizzying height, high above your head!
Add to the mix, high-speed aerial descents, flame-throwers, tightly choreographed fight-sequences, high-falls and a host of incredible post-apocalyptic themed vehicles screeching across the arena, narrowly missing each other at unbelievable speeds, and you’ve got a show that you need to see more than once in order to take it all in!
This truly international show draws talent from across the planet, employing some of the best and most experienced Stunt drivers and performers in the business. For the big finale trick, which involves driving a vehicle upside-down in the giant Superloop, Global Village called upon International Stunt Driver and holder of more that 20 Guinness World Records, Terry Grant. Terry agreed to consult on the show, spending many weeks training 2 drivers to undertake the dangerous, extremely complex and rarely seen stunt of driving a vehicle through a 360° loop.
With 3 performances per day (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday) and 4 performances per day at the weekend (Thursday and Friday), the Superloop Stunt Show runs through to the end of the season on April 6th 2019. Seats are limited, and we advise guests to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Shows timings are available on the Global Village website: www.globalvillage.ae, at the gates of Global Village and advertised outside the Stunt Arena.
This show has already been seen by tens of thousands of guests, who all left with huge smiles on their faces, awesome photographs and some incredible memories! Global Village attracts around 6 million visitors every year, and this show is clearly one of the reasons why!
