Himachal Congress govt follows Yogi model, mandates display of owner details at food outlets

Himachal Pradesh has joined Uttar Pradesh in directing food establishment owners to display their names prominently. The Himachal Pradesh government has mandated that all food establishments display the names and addresses of their operators, proprietors, and managers. This directive was issued on Wednesday, September 25, following a similar order by the Uttar Pradesh government, which came into effect on Tuesday. This announcement was made by the state's Public Works and Urban Development Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, in a social media post following a meeting of the Urban Development and Municipal Corporation. "In Himachal too, every restaurant and fast food stall will have owner's ID, so that people do not face any kind of problem," he stated.
