Dino is a multi-instrumentalist who has played with Beyoncé, Lionel Richie, Leonard Cohen, Ray Charles, and others.
He began his interest in the tarogato by "getting to know" it on tour with Leonard Cohen. He became fascinated with introducing the instrument's subtle personality traits to other listeners.
The Tarogato is a Hungarian instrument very close, in sound, to the soprano saxophone. But it is warm in timbre and the tuning can be very "microtonal". Dino plays it here in a standard Jazz format with his band in Köln, Germany.
