Beijing Winter Olympics 2022: Opening ceremony, 'sleeping Putin' & more

The 2022 Winter Olympics has started in Beijing, kicking off with fireworks and a show of lights at the Bird’s Nest stadium.

From Jamaica to Great Britain athletes from every nation took part in the parade.

Scottish curler Eve Muirhead and slalom skier Dave Ryding said they were ‘delighted’ and 'shocked' to be chosen as GB flag bearers.
