Arctica DIY Solar Air Heater Kit Instructions

* September, 2022 update:  We are now back in stock on DIY heater kits WITHOUT the aluminum frame rails.  All other parts - the absorber, PV panel, thermostat, switch, fan and filter are part of this new kit.  To build your heater you'll have to provide your own glass, insulation (polyiso) and framing material (we'd recommend wood or aluminum angle bracket).  All materials except for the glass are available from a local big box hardware store.  Tempered glass can be ordered custom from a local glass shop.  Here is a simple wood frame design you can use to build your own heater from our kit:

* December, 2021 update:  We've sold out of all of our heater kits, and we will not be restocking the exact kit in this video, however we will soon (early 2022) be launching a lower cost fully assembled heater and selling individual parts from the kit to those who want to use this video as training and inspiration to build their own DIY heaters.
