Shadow the Hedgehog is a character that up until Season 3 has had pretty much no involvement in changing or messing with the show's plot, he's just been there most of the time and is only really there as a companion to Sonic since Tails is split into 3 different variants. However, taking a deeper look into the Sonic Prime Season 3 trailer we can see that Shadow has finally impacted the plot, by breaking the shatterverse.
