The previous video showed the trajectory of Venus in a geocentric coordinate system. Over an eight-year time interval, the trajectory is almost closed. However, it can be noted that Venus is still slightly shifting relative to its position eight years ago. This video shows in an accelerated manner how the geocentric trajectory of Venus has been changing over the centuries. It can be seen that it is slowly rotating around the Earth, which is in the center of the screen.

In the previous video, we saw that Venus and Earth move around the Sun in resonance. While the Earth makes 8 revolutions around the Sun, Venus manages to make 13. But the period of Venus revolution is still slightly different from eight-thirteenth of the Earth year. Because of this, there is a slow rotation of the trajectory.

The eight-year trajectory of Venus has five loops of approach to Earth. The video allows you to see that in 243 years, the eight-year trajectory of Venus makes one fifth of a complete revolution relative to the Earth. After 243 years, the place of the approach loop in space is occupied by an adjacent loop. And exactly 243 years is the duration of the cycle of transit of Venus across the disk of the Sun, observed from Earth. Thus, for an eight-year trajectory to make a complete revolution relative to the Earth, it takes five times longer, that is, 1215 years.

Modeling and rendering were performed by author of this publication using own software. The calculations took into account the mutual influence of the Sun, all the planets of the Solar System and the Moon on each other. Relativistic effects were also taken into account in the calculation.
