In session 26 of his series ‘Studies in the Life of David,’ Mike Bickle teaches on when David fled to Mahanaim in response to Absalom’s plans. Absalom pursed him, crossing the Jordan in his determination to kill David—this is one of the darkest pictures of betrayal in the Bible. David had confidence that God would give him victory over “ten thousands” of enemies who came against David in the battle in Ephraim. David was so confident that the Lord would save him that he described his enemies as already defeated.
