Hi everyone!
Finally it's here! The first of the beginner gardener series where we go from nothing to making a beautiful border showing you every step of the process to guarantee your success. I think everyone can be a gardener and that everyone can do their little bit for nature. Now don't get me wrong - I hope there will be enough in this and future videos to provide tips, tricks, hacks and little nuggets of advice to gardeners of all ages, skill levels and experience not just beginners.
There are a few things to consider before going out and digging and buying plants. It will save us money and heartache in the long run I can assure you. The very first thing we need to address are gardening tools. Which ones do we really need and which ones are a bit of a gimmick. With these tools we are going to go on a journey together to create a new border and maintain our spaces for years to come.
In the next video I will be showing you how to easily assess your site or space so you can learn what plants and what design styles/choices will work and if you need specific types of compost or soil improver.
