Muzaffarpur in Northern Bihar is famous for its Litchi cultivation. In the ongoing loksabha elections 2019, two key contestants here are Ajay Nishad from BJP and Raj Bhushan Chaudhary Nishad from Mukesh Saini's VIP. Both these candidates belong to Nishad community. There are six assembly segments here- Muzaffarpur urban, Kudhni, Sakra, Bochhan, Gayaghat and Orai. Chaturbhuj Sthan in Muzaffarpur town is infamous for its Tawaif Mandi. There is a lane where you will find several home of tawaifs. They have a professional license for singing and dancing. But people allege this is just a cover-up and they are sex workers in reality.
