Today I prepared a tasty and cheap second course of oily fish. To flavor the fish I used the ingredients of the cacciatore preparations. Result? A really delicious and tasty recipe with mackerel.

I love mackerel because it is a blue fish rich in iodine and potassium, excellent in low-calorie diets due to its multiple nutritional qualities. And then it is really one of the cheapest.
In this recipe with pan-fried mackerel, I have tried to enhance its taste in my own way and to make it even tastier with a tomato sauce, enriched with olives, capers, and chilli pepper.
I also showed you how to make fresh fish fillets, whose Mediterranean character we're going to enhance.
If you accompany the pan-fried mackerel with a few slices of well-seasoned toasted bread and a side dish of boiled Romanesco broccoli, the result will be more than satisfying!

Follow your favorite Roman cook in the kitchen and let's prepare this delicacy right away! 😉

🔥 PREPARATION:
00:00 Introduction to the recipe: pan-fried mackerel with cherry tomatoes and olives
00:11 Ingredients
00:27 Cut the broccoli into large pieces, separate the leaves from the stalks and pour everything into a saucepan with boiling salted water
02:16 I show you how to fillet mackerel and remove the bones.
05:04 Lift the broccoli and pour it into a bowl. Season them with extra virgin olive oil and salt
05:33 In a pan, pour plenty of extra virgin olive oil and a clove of garlic. Cook the mackerel fillets skin side down. Add a few Piennolo tomatoes cut in half, the Taggiasca olives, the desalted capers, a little chilli pepper and a few sprigs of rosemary. When the skin of the fish is browned, turn the mackerel fillets
07:44 When ready, put the mackerel fillets on a plate. Pour the vinegar into the sauce and let it evaporate over high heat. Once the vinegar has evaporated, pour the dressing over the fish and fill the dish with the boiled broccoli
08:42 Cut a few slices of bread and make it crunchy after dunking it in the remaining toppings in the pan. Garnish the dish with the slices of bread
09:25 Let's open a bottle of Unfiltered Sparkling Wine from https://valdellovo.com/shop-vini/ and get ready for the topical moment
