I was wrong about the
I was wrong about the Bose 301 IV in my last review called "The Secret Behind Bose Sound Revealed!" The Secret Behind Bose Sound Revealed!
I made the mistake of using them with toe-in like you would with normal speakers and measuring them head on instead of from an angle to get more of the sound from the front tweeter.
Also, as a follow up on Blind A/B Speaker Test #004
that was the same as Blind A/B Speaker Test #003 (Bose vs. SVS) except in the #004 version, the Bose was turned up +3dB over the SVS. I also removed the source file so that you couldn't use the source as a reference. I did this to prove a point which was that a louder speaker will typically score better than one of equal volume and the importance of having the source file to compare a speaker's accuracy.
28% of the people picked Bose (Blue) on Test #004 compared to only 8% on Test #003.
