EDIT: You need to Decipher Theoretical blueprints at Howl's Floating Workshop first!
A quick guide on how to unlock the Abyssal Link Power on The Mysterious Monolith in Runescape Archaeology. Activating this relic will cause teleport spells from the spellbook to no longer require runes but awards no Magic experience. It costs 5,000 chronotes to activate and uses 250 monolith energy.
Steps:
- Decipher Theoretical blueprints at Howl's Floating Workshop to unlock the ability to create The Subtle Blade.
- Enter Guthix's Cave by picking the option "Main entrance" and click on the table to "Investigate shattered blade". This will give you a Shard of the Blade.
- Create The Subtle Blade at an Inventor's workbench using the Shard of the Blade and a restored Prototype godsword artefact (additionally requires 111 Invention, 500 Historic components, 500 Base parts, 10 Timeworn components and 10 Vintage components).
- Use The Subtle Blade on the Monolith to unlock the relic.
