Howdy doody, frienderoonies! Today we're here to talk about my sound design setup for field recording and go through what microphones I use and why.
Microphones are a lot of fun, but microphones are expensive and with sound design it's easy to get caught up in the idea that you need all sorts of fancy expensive toys when that's really not the case at all.
So, I wanted to walk through my setup and talk about the pros and cons of each mic and hopefully help shed some light on some budget friendly options for you to start or expand your sound design field recording setup!
