First time in Nanjing: what to see & eat in 48 hours | Solo travelling in China

After my hike in Huangshan, I headed off to my next destination: Nanjing. The city was beautiful and felt very peaceful despite the crowds. I would love to return in deep autumn to see all the foliage! I definitely tried to do too much this time despite being physically drained from the hike and got really sick when I left the city LOL but overall I had a lovely time!

In the video I shared some tips regarding getting around on the metro and also how to book tickets for the Nanjing Musuem but will summarise things quickly here. Essentially, mini apps in Alipay or WeChat will be essential to your travels in China. You can get a virtual metro card through both apps and the museum ticket is also obtained via a mini app called 南京博物院. Just note that there is another museum in Nanjing with a similar name so make sure you are booking for the right one!
