Howeyzeh Hotel in Teheran, Iran - review of this Tehran Hotel

I (Michael Leander) stayed in the Howeyzeh Hotel in Tehran for nearly 1 week. The restaurant, lobby, and coffee shop were fine. But the room was old and smelly. Working at the working desk was nearly impossible. Had this hotel been in Europe, it would have been rated 2-3 stars. In Iran, this hotel is apparently rated a 4-star hotel. As a speaker and trainer, the quality of the hotels we stay in has a direct impact on a speaker's mood and preparation. I would not recommend this hotel for business travelers, however, if you are in Teheran and just need a place to sleep, it will do just fine.
