WW1 Stories: celebrating the VC soldiers | ITV News

Soldiers and descendants of 24 men, who were each awarded the Victoria Cross, gathered in York to honour and celebrate their forefathers' bravery.

During the special ceremony, some medals were re-united with the families of those whose defiant acts still inspire others today.
