How to make ANZAC biscuits (cookies)  also what ANZAC da means to me and memories of ANZAC days past

My name is Angie and along with my beautiful family , we are sharing our memories with you!

Every year we cook these biscuits.. they are so easy and extremely yummy!

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar ( white or brown)
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup coconut
125 grams butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon bi carb soda
2 table spoons boiling water

method

Add dry ingredients to a bowl. mix ingredients
Melt butter and golden syrup
When melted, add bi carb soda and boiling water into a cup. add this mix to the melted butter combination
it will froth up. Add this froth to the dry ingredients
mix and spoon or ball mixture and place onto lined tray.
Cook at 160 degrees celcius and for 10-12 mins or until golden brown
Allow to cool befor eating.
