Ingredients
Wheat Rava- 1cup
Hot water-2 1/4cup
Green chilli-1
Onion-1/2
Carrot-1/4
Beans-4
Ginger-1/2tsp
Oil or ghee-
Curry leaves-
Salt-
Mustard seeds-1pinch
Urad dal-1/4tsp
Cashewnuts -opt
Sugar-one pinch
Method
Heat oil ,splutter mustard seeds,urad dal.
Then add onion,ginger ,chilli and curryleaves .
Saute for a minute ,now add vegetables .Add salt and sugar ..Mix well .
Cook till translucent
Then add rava and roast for min .
Then add water and mix well.. Check the taste and adjust the salt
Close the cooker and cook for 1 whistle in high flame .
Then allow to cool down
Then using a fork puff up the uppumav ..
So tasty wheat rava uppuma is ready to serve..
