How I Got Meta to Change my Instagram Username!

I can't believe this is real life!
I've held the IG handle: thedaddydayclub for a few years now. I was never able to remove "the" from my username, even though 'daddydayclub' was not taken, it wouldn't allow me to change it. I know this because when I went to 'Forgot Password' and typed in 'daddydayclub' it said No User Found. When I tried to create a new account or rename my handle it said "Username not available".
Recently, I filed a trademark for North America and realized I could use this to fill out an Instagram Trademark report in hopes of speaking to someone at Instagram. When you enter your information it begins to ask you for your Trademark filing number, gives you a chance to upload documents and asks you if you are looking to claim a username or take an account down. Remember, the main purpose is to file an infringement report. I am 98% sure that the first two emails you get are A.I or auto reply messages. Because I got rejected 9 times, I received the same exact emails for different cases.
After being rejected 8 times, they sent me an awesome email saying that it has been approved and changed.
Good luck to everyone who has been trying to get a hold of Instagram. Your best bet is to start a filing for a trademark. I filed the Canadian transcript myself, and for the United States I ended up going with JPG legal. They had good reviews, over 3000 trademarks and ended up giving me their opinion on the likelihood of being approved. I used https://jpglegal.com (not an ad). Cost me around $1700 CND for the middle tier which includes minor responses to the governing body. It won't cover the major ones, but you can pick a plan based on your circumstances.
