Episode 44 - ⚗️🥃🥧 DIY: Make Your Own Moonshine Apple Pie! ⚗️🥃🥧
Sorry this one is late, I was in the hospital the last 2 days.
Hey moonshine fans, get your shine on! Granny never thought of this apple pie, perfect for dessert or sitting around the campfire with your buds!
TRY THIS AT HOME
⚗️🥃🥧 Recipe for the BEST MOONSHINE APPLE PIE:
Ingredients:
2 Quarts Apple Cider (we used Publix brand)
2 Quarts Apple Juice (we used Publix brand)
750 ml Everclear 151 Grain Alcohol
5-6 dashes Allspice (we used Badia Brand)
1/4 cup Ground Cinnamon (we used Badia Brand)
1/4 cup Ground Nutmeg (we used Badia Brand)
1 Dozen Cloves (we used Badia Brand)
8-10 Cinnamon Sticks (we used Badia Brand)
5 One-Quote or 5 750 ml Mason Jars and lids
Please drink responsibly
1. Mix all the ingredients (except the alcohol) in a large stock pot and bring up to 160 degreEs for 1 hour.
2. Let cool below 100 degreEs (so the alcohol doesn't burn off) and for safe handling.
3. Add the Everclear or moonshine of your choice and stir well.
4. Ladle into the Mason Jars (you may have a little left over). Will last in your fridge up to 6 months (but I doubt you will leave it that long!).
