Hello everyone! I am Dr Demilade Fayemiwo and I am sharing my AS Biology notes in chronological order to help students prepare for their Cambridge AS Biology examinations by recording notes from my classroom. In this introductory video, I start with cells the basic unit of life, introduce students to the concept of magnification and resolution and also get you started with practising unit conversions for cell measurements. I also explain how microscopes work and share some of the features plants and animal cells have in common. I hope you enjoy it!
