The Kaito DIY-63 AM FM
The Kaito DIY-63 AM FM Woodcraft Radio Kit is All About Fun! A Project that requires No Tools! That is Right, No Soldering, or Screwdrivers. It is all about Laser Cut Wood Panels, and Modular Design. It will take some patience to get the sides Put on, but Once Complete you will have a Customizable Wood Radio that you can Show Off at Your Next Party :) Perfect Cub Scout / STEM Build. Most Important is to Enjoy Yourself as you Assemble, and Start Tuning this Unique Receiver.

Features I like about the DIY-63:
Fairly Easy to Assemble.
Decent FM Reception.
Ok on AM Locals.
Sounds Tinny, but that Gives it Character.
Customizable Exterior.
Building a Radio without Tools is More Fun than I Thought :)
Power LED Indicator.
DC Power Input.
Features that could be Added or Improved on:
Add Shortwave!
Add a Headphone Jack, and Ditch the Aux-In.
Improve Speaker Design.
Lithium Power for Simplicity.
Overall, this Radio Kit gets a Recommended Buy, even with the above needs. It is still fun to build, and Own. Perfect Introduction for a Youngster that wants to Explore Radio, or an Older Guy Like myself to show off to the Wife :)
