當我第一次抵達台灣時，有很多事情令我感到震驚和驚喜，其中之一就是美味的食物。這裡有很多種美味的料理，我從小到大從未嚐試過。

多虧我可愛的太太季芳和親切的台灣朋友們，常常推薦不同的美食和慷慨的款待，我的飲食習慣變得更加健康和多元。現在，我吃的糖類和加工食品少非常多，我能夠享受到許多西方人從未見過或想像的食物和食品。

在今天的影片中，我的妻子和女兒們帶領我們進行了一場美味的烹飪之旅，烹飪了一桌充滿特別口感和不同動物部位的盛宴，這可能會讓你對我們的理智提出質疑。

儘管我晚上躺在床上不會特別渴望今天影片中的菜肴，但我必須承認它們很好吃，而且可能對我的健康有很多好處。

我們的七個女兒從小吃這些東西，所以對她們來說很正常（應該是因為媽媽常常坐月子吧！）
我們希望她們對於食物有很大的接受度，同時因為願意嘗試新奇和奇異的食物將來就不太可能會挨餓了。

One of the many things that shocked and surprised me when I first arrived in Taiwan was the amazing food. There are so many delicious kinds of cuisine here that I never tasted growing up.

Thanks to the suggestions and generosity and of my lovely wife, and Taiwanese friends, my eating habits have matured and changed for the better. Now I eat much less sugar and processed foods, and am able to enjoy foods that many in the West have never even seen or imagined to be food.

In today’s video my wife and daughters take us on a delicious culinary journey, cooking up a feast of slimy critters and animal parts that might cause you to question our sanity. Even though I don’t lay in bed at night craving the dishes in today’s video, I would have to admit that they taste good, and are probably good for me.

Our 7 daughters have grown up eating this things from time to time, and so it’s normal for them. We like to think that it will make them tougher individuals, and less likely to starve, if they are open to trying new and strange looking foods.
