How to make Styrofoam prints I

Recycle styrofoam plates, or "to go" boxes using this simple print making technique.  You need styrofoam that has been cut so it is flat, acrylic paint, a foam roller or brayer, a pen or pencil and paper to print on.  The hardest part is figuring out what to draw!  Make sure your paint is not water, and enjoy!  If you need ideas for tying this lesson to art history or other subjects, the Artist Albrecht Durer has incredible woodcut prints you can look at, you could also talk about the gutenburg printing press.
