To dry clean carpet you will need:
- dry cleaning compound or powder
- a stiff or gentle brush depending on the carpet type
- a vacuum

Method:
- sprinkle the powder on the carpet
- brush the powder in and work any staining
- vacuum the powder out when the solvent has evaporated
