Electrical outlet install -- recessed DIY- for wall mounted television

Here I go through the process of installing a recessed outlet that will sit behind the television.  A lot cleaner and easier than having a wire run down the wall to an outlet. I bought this recessed box at home depot, and it can hold the tv cord as well as cable wires and or ethernet cable.  Important to do this if you want your tv as close to the wall as possible.

Of course any electrical work should be completed by a licensed electrician if you are not comfortable doing this sort of work.   Always remember to turn power off and double check that there are no live wires where you are working because electricity poses a risk of electrocution or shock
