Vintage Cookbooks: Pillsbury Family Cookbooks & The Bake Off Books

Over the decades, Pillsbury has published countless cookbooks, recipe collections, pamphlets and magazines. Since its founding in 1869, Pillsbury remains a staple in American baking and continues to publish cookbooks and recipes today. Here we look at a sampling from the Cavalcade cookbook library that includes Pillsbury general or "Family" cookbooks, various specialty publications, and the famous Pillsbury Bake Off cookbooks, including a look at the first Grand National Recipe and Baking Contest (what it was called originally) published in 1949.
