A plant genus belonging to the geranium family. It includes 424 accepted species and dozens more are yet to be decided.

The leaves of the plant are long palmate, have a wide rounded shape.
The flowers have colorful petals (petals), white, pink, crimson, blue or red, and often have distinct veins.
Geranium can grow in any soil unless it is flooded. It is preferable to neutral porous soil free of harmful salts.
