In today's video we are swapping out a GE Goldmark 200 amp main panel, also called a load center or circuit breaker box, for a similar panel with double the capacity for breakers. The basic concept should apply whether you have a GE, Square-D by Schneider, Eaton, Siemens, or Leviton panel as they all have the same UL certification. Proper planning can make this process go smoothly; so be sure to have your materials ready, contact your power company and local jurisdiction and prep the area around your panel before cutting the power.
