Welcome to another quiet yin yoga class for this fifth installment of my minimal cues yin yoga series. Today's class focuses on the wood element, targeting deep release of the groin and hips.

Since this is a minimal cues class, I will be talking less and giving less guidance into each pose as usual, with the majority of the time left for you to silently go inward. The wood element is all about letting go of what is no longer serving us in order to make space for new beginnings. I would encourage you to come to this class with the intention to have a mindful presence. Notice what your body is feeling and how that shifts throughout each pose. Notice where the mind tends to wonder each time you lose focus; and continuing re-center your awareness to your breath. This is how we can begin to get out of the mind and into the body and ultimately gain greater clarity and insight to our lives. If you're ready, grab a mat and let's get to it!
