Life on the road as full time RVers can result in some interesting experiences. From woodland predator encounters to frightening weather systems, even belligerent locals screaming at us to leave our campsite - we've endured a lot!
One such occasion - a run in with a black bear that caused significant damage to our truck - happened within the first month of our RV lives! But we didn't let that discourage us from continuing to travel. Thankfully, these frightening situations have been few and far between. I'll have to admit, if these confrontations and incidents happened regularly, we would have left the RV lifestyle behind and returned to sticks and bricks.
So what's the silver lining to all this? Well, simply put, unique experiences endow the individual with life lessons that may only be learned the hard way. Also, we're able to share these lessons with you and all our fellow RV travelers so that you don't have to learn the hard way!
