Ubiquitin is a small protein
Ubiquitin is a small protein that is used in cell signalling: it can get attached to all kinds of proteins inside a cell in order to change their behaviour, location, or protein-protein interactions.
In this video, we go into a bit more detail around the different kinds of ubiquitynation, and what enzymes are required to attach ubiquitin to a target protein.
