Can India and Canada set aside politics in Sikh murder investigation?

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says allegations of New Delhi's possible involvement in the slaying of a Sikh exile were not to provoke India. Instead, he wants answers over the murder. However, Canada’s very public allegation has angered the Indian government, triggering a tit-for-tat expulsion of diplomats. Mr Michael Kugelman, director of the Wilson Center’s South Asia Institute, tells CNA’s Asia Now that India’s response and reaction in the coming days will be key indications for diplomatic relations between the two nations.
