If you want to use your GoPro Hero 6 with your Karma Grip you have to update the firmware on your Karma Grip. Steps To Update Your Karma Grip:
1. Make sure you have GoPro's Quik for Desktop downloaded on your computer.
2. Put your GoPro camera in the Karma Grip and connect it to your computer.
3. Turn on your Karma Grip by holding down the Power/Mode button.
4 Open Quick and follow the instructions.
