EASY LEMON TARTS RECIPE|FESTIVE DESSERT RECIPE

This is an ideal festive dessert as it is light and just divine to have after a nice Christmas Lunch /Dinner
Ingredients
For the tarts/canapes
1 & ½ cup of maida/all purpose flour
2 tbsp cold butter
3-4 tbsp of very cold water
A pinch of salt


For the filling
200 ml fresh cream
200 ml of condensed milk
¼ cup of fresh lime/lemon juice

Method

For the tarts/canapes
method Add some salt to the flour ,now add the butter to the flour and mix well till it resembles bread crumbs ,now add a little water at a time and make a soft and smooth dough.Rest the Dough for 15 mins.pre heat the oven @ 180 deg C for 10 mins..roll out the dough and cut round shapes ,fit into the mold well and bake for 15 mins.

For the filling
Whip/Whisk the fresh cream till nice & stiff ,in another bowl mix the condensed milk & the lime/lemon juice well,add this to the whipped cream,fold in well..now fill the canapes/tarts with this filling,refrigerate for 30mins,
Garnish with some lemon rind/tutti frutti
