i have so much to say about this drama, but i'll try and keep it brief. this is my favorite version of the story (the japanese rendition with my celebrity crush 💞 oguri shun 💞), although it is chaotic, overdramatic, and problematic at times. a fair warning, don't watch the special episode if you are uncomfortable with racist mockery, because it has some of that in it. :/

other than that, though, this drama is a true classic. it has all the elements of a great 2000s rom-com - the tsundere male lead who gradually opens up and regains his sparkle, the headstrong and loyal female lead who changes the other characters forever, and the silly second lead who eventually breaks your heart. i got pretty emotional while editing the last episode, mainly because i didn't want the story to have to end again. my babies ㅠㅠ
