In this AVA, we show the benefits of using 3D annotations to then share with manufacturing by the means of a 3D PDF. 3D models are typically created to the exact or mean value of the dimension requirement, once the model is sent out to manufacturing the chances of hitting that exact value is possible but usually requires more time to get it precise. Engineers will then use tolerances based on part functionality and industry standards. Those tolerances can then be used in an annotative method to communicate the leeway that the individual making the part has. This AVA introduces users to creating 3D annotations as well as: -Working with 3D Annotations & GD&T -Configuring tolerances for a range of dimensions -Generating a 3D PDF
