1. Place pattern selection guide on the machine.
2. Turn the machine on
3. Raise the needle to the highest position by turning the hand wheel towards you
4. Use the dial to select your upper thread tension - for 'normal sewing'
5. Select your stitch by toggling through the 50 stitch options (48, 49, 50 will only work with a  buttonhole foot)
6. Sew
