Israeli forces and Hezbollah trade cross-border fire. Hezbollah said it fired more than 100 rockets at Israeli positions in retaliation for a strike that killed a senior commander in Lebanon, the movement's second such loss in recent weeks.
Earlier on Wednesday, Israel assassinated Muhammad Nimah Nasser, a senior commander of the Lebanese group Hezbollah, known as "Hajj Abu Nimah," in an air strike on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
