Song: How It Ends by DeVotchKa TV show: The Boys Character: Hughie Campbell Not long ago, I watched the season finale, and it was insane. Now I can't wait for the final season because it seems it will be diabolic. But anyway, while watching it, I had inspiration to make a video. So, here we are... I guess this video could also be a tribute to Hughie Campbell. Because this character suffered a lot throughout this series: he brutally lost loved ones, there were a lot of times when he watched how other people were being brutally murdered, he had to murder people, he was emotionally, psychologically, sexually, and physically abused. And he almost never had a break from these traumas. Just somebody, please give this boy a hug, a shoulder to cry on, and the hope that everything will be okay. Despite all the fucked-up things, it was interesting to watch this character's growth throughout the series and how he understands that he doesn't need to have powers to support or save someone. It was cool to watch his relationship with his father and his dynamics with Butcher, Annie, and others, how he is trying to stay good and how he is trying to keep his values. Despite everything that happened to him, he is trying to do what is right and find a better, more humane solution. Like, murder would not be his first decision. It would be his last attempt to save himself and others. And almost all the time, he's trying to spare and save innocent people's lives. So, yeah, he's awesome. He's not a Lee Marvin, but he would make a pretty good Katniss. Also, big applause to Jack Quaid. He perfectly portrayed Hughie. I couldn't imagine anyone who could do a better job than him. Anyway, random fact of the day: Jack's Quaid's (aka Hughie Cambell) and Joe's Keery's (aka Steve Harrington from Stranger Things) birthdays are the same: April 24, 1992. (like everything matches the year, month, and day). So, I just thought that it's a funny coincidence that actors I like are sharing birthdays. So, I thought I would share it with everyone.
