Destiny - Aksis CHALLENGE MODE
Destiny - Aksis CHALLENGE MODE HM - How to do the Aksis Challenge Mode - Wrath of the Machine Hard Mode Raid / WOTM HM Part 5 - Aksis, Archon Prime Boss Fight in the Rise of Iron Raid. Quick video guide showing the Aksis Challenge Mode on Heroic. Details below:
CHALLENGE MODE REQUIREMENTS:
-You need to have someone Supercharge every rotation - this is done by having someone use their Empowerment to slam the Servitor plates every time Aksis teleports
The challenge can be done on Normal Mode.
Upon completing the challenge, you will receive the Machina Sacra Emblem, a Perfected Ornament and an Exotic Engram.
CHALLENGE MODE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE ^^^^

The mechanics for this fight are as follows: The same as the fight before, but with additional mechanics. You need to split up into teams of two. Fight the enemy waves until Captains spawn with Scorch/Null/Shock Cannons on each side of the room. Once you kill them, 3 people pick up the cannons and kill the corresponding Servitors of the same type. They drop SIVA Charges that people whodon't have the Cannons will throw the charges the boss to bring down his shields.
Once the bombs are thrown at Aksis, he will teleport into a certain spot of the room. There are "Empowered" buffs that go out to fireteam members, and they need to be spread out around the room ready. Once he teleports, a player with the empowered buff needs to jump onto his back and slam into him (holding the interract button - square on PS4). This stuns him for a while allow people to DPS him. Repeat this until 4 cycles and then he will cast SIVA Density Critical. At this point you want to all jump onto the same platform at the back of the map with the light on it to survive. Continue with this until boss dies (he also has a "final stand" that you need to DPS him down through).
HARD MODE DIFFERENCES:
-There's now 9 Servitors that spawn and Aksis requires ~7 bombs to take his shield down. Basically like the third phase of the Aksis pre-fight with all the Servitors spawning.
