Summertime is here!! Welcome to Northern Thailand. Today we will learn about some incredible Thai-Chinese style recipes at a riverside restaurant in Chiang Mai. I find myself really in the mood for a beef-focused lunch, a huge lunch, and this amazing 'Khao Kaa Neua' at Ancient Beef Thai Cuisine absolutely hits the spot. Thank you for joining Li and myself, thank you so much for watching this video today! "Leng Saep" is a sour and spicy soup, common in Central Thailand, usually featuring meat-on-bone as a central item in the dish. "Khao Kaa Neua" is a classic single-plate order, piling slow-cooked chunks of beef over a bed of white rice. Usually served with fermented cabbage on the side. "Sa-Too Lin" ("or 'Tongue Stew') is a dish that shows some foreign influence including potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and onions, will samplings of beef intestines and beef tongue. "Khreaung Nai Toon" is a mixed plate of steamed intestines, in this case also beef, served with a fiery dip known as 'Jaew.' After this week, we will again be traveling abroad, stay tuned for a cool series coming up (our farthest trip yet to date!). God bless! Have a wonderful day today and a lovely month of July!
