Hi guys! This is chef Beyk and I am here with a dish high in iron: “Spinach and Plum Stew”.
Ingredients:
Ground beef 400g
Chopped spinach 300g
Dried plum 10
Grated onion 1
Fried onion 4tbs
Canola oil as needed
Salt, black pepper, turmeric as needed
In a bowl, mix ground beef, grated onion, salt, black pepper, and turmeric.
Make meatballs in size of small walnuts
In a bowl, soak plums in cold water for 20 minutes
Fry meatballs in a large pan over medium heat until they are no longer pink
Bring water to boil and add meatballs and let them cook well
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add spinach; sauté until spinach is wilted (5-6 minutes)
Add sautéed spinach
In the last 30 minutes of cooking procedure, add fried onion, salt, black pepper, and turmeric
Drain plums and add them to the pot
Simmer the stew for almost 2 hours and occasionally stir gently
Serve with rice
This sweet and sour taste of this dish is out of this world
