Here I have tried to explain the anatomy of a kidney and the internal structure of the kidney. I have explained the urinary system anatomy as well as the structures and their physiology.

The Urinary system consists of two kidneys, ureter, urethra and the bladder. The kidney structure includes: nephron, Bowman's capsule, convoluted tubule, descending and ascending Henle's tubule and it includes the distal convoluted tubule. Medulla and Cortex are also parts of the kidney. Renal artery and the renal vein are the blood vessels of the kidney.
