The Facinating Inspiration Behind the Hexenzirkel | Genshin Impact Theory

There's no better time than now to discuss the use of Witches and Fair Maidens in Genshin Impact by Hoyoverse's developers. Especially with Version 4.7 fast approaching. The new permanent game mode, Imaginarium Theater, promises to unveil interesting lore surrounding the Hexenzirkel.

My search into the inspirations behind the Witches of Teyvat from Chinese and Greek folklore and mythologies has provided me some extremely interesting insights in the Hexenzirkel's designs (especially those of Barbeloth and Mona) that I am sure many of you will find interesting.
