Gondwana Chorale performs Geantrai, an Irish piece by Michael McGlynn. Gondwana Chorale is an Australian choir that consists of singers from around the country aged 17-21. This concert is filmed at Verbrugghen Hall at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney.
The guest conductor is Karen Grylls, who also conducts the New Zealand Youth Choir. The percussionist is a member of Synergy Percussion Ensemble, and the dancers are choir members Nicole Koch and Veronica Milroy.
This concert is the culmination of a two week National Choral School which includes Gondwana's other choirs.
