Click subscribe! A quick guide& tutorial to operating sniper rifles in Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead (OA or Combined Operations) with the A.C.E 2 mod running.
Keys you need:
ACE Self interaction key
Check wind: Shift K
Deploy Bipod: Shift Space
Remember that if the wind is 1 meter per second and the windage says 8.0 at the range you are firing at you will need to dial in 2 against the crosswind (-2 if the wind is coming from the left). This is because the windage is rated against 4 meters per second wind.
Setting up prey and hunting them is great fun when you don't have a lot of online friends to play with.
If your first hit is a miss then look for the bullet strike and adjust for your next shot. There probably won't be time to adjust the windage & elevation.
If you don't have a range finder, use the map to estimate the range. If you don't have a wind meter, Shift K will color code the wind strength, so guess from that.
