On May 20, 2010, Ventura County Railway steam engine number 2 was steamed up at the Orange Empire Railway Museum of Perris, California for a weekend of runs on the museum's "Demonstration Railway". Number 2 is a 2-6-2 Prairie type locomotive built in 1922 by the Baldwin Locomotive works. Shortly after this video was taken, #2 was taken out of service for an FRA mandated 5 year boiler inspection. As of 2012, the locomotive is back in service on select weekends. During this inspection, the headlight was moved back to the top of the boiler. More information can be found at www.oerm.org
