He cited the recent arrest of Andhra Pradesh Assembly Leader of the Opposition, N. Chandrababu Naidu, in connection with the skill development scam as the reason for his statement. He further noted that individuals may have their political affiliations, but this should not harm the industry's neutrality. Suresh Babu acknowledged that political preferences can be a sensitive matter, and while people may favor one leader while disliking another, it's their personal right. He cited the example of the film industry's non-involvement in political discussions even during significant events like the separation of Telangana State from united Andhra Pradesh. Consequently, he emphasized the importance of the industry maintaining a non-political stance.
